Dr. Andrew Fleming, British Deputy High Commissioner to Kolkata (East & North East India), praised a Bangladeshi Diplomat’s work in Kolkata – Tarique Choyon currently serving as the First Secretary (Press) at the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata, India.
The British Mission Chief in Kolkata made the remark on Friday while he was addressing a speech as the Chief Guest, at the exclusive launch of the KSCH Calendar, in associated with P&C Group- a special Kolkata Culture and Heritage Edition; celebrating the city’s timeless architecture and rich cultural legacy. As described by the organisers: this calendar is a heartful tribute to Kolkata’s timeless architecture, rich culture and the stories that make the city truly magical. The program was organised to celebrate the soul of Kolkata through art, heritage and elegance.
While referring to him as a friend at the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission, Dr. Fleming noted that Tarique has been actively promoting arts, literature, culture, and heritage in Kolkata.
