77th Republic Day of India was celebrated with great fanfare on 26th Jan. in Howrah in an atmosphere of patriotism and with a touch of cultural heritage. The day was celebrated through special programs organized by ‘Vihaan Style Icon’ and ‘Dropbeats Dance Factory’, a modern dance, fashion and performing arts training center.
At the event, students of the institution dressed up as Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Indian Army, Rani Lakshmibai, Bharat Mata, Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh and Chandra Shekhar Azad and presented patriotic performances to the audience.
The program was attended by Vihan Singh, Pintu Singh, Aryan Kumar, Minu Chowdhury, Tanishka Sengupta, Rahul Srivastava, Arya Gupta, Shreyash Kumar, Param Kumar, Riyanshi Mahato, Shivansh Singh, Medha Ram, Kavya Srivastava, Yanshi Bhansali, Shriji Sah, Sanvi Gupta, Niranjana Bhutra, Adya Gupta, Mihit Khemka, Palak Kumari, Kaushiki Ghosh, Pritam Karel, Ruhi Sah, Aastha Kothari, Adhiraj Roy, Anushka Shaw, Swara Ladia, Kiara Goel, Ananya Jaiswal, Samaira Jaiswal, Ishika Rathi, Mohit Rathi, Vanshika Himmat Singh and Janhvi Kumari.
The institute has already earned a reputation for introducing children and teenagers to the traditions of Indian culture and festivals through dance and modeling training as well as celebrating them. It offers a wide range of Indian and Western dance courses for students of all ages – Bollywood, Hip-Hop, Contemporary Dance, Jazz, Salsa, Indian Classical Dance, Garba and Dandiya. It also offers popular Zumba fitness sessions for physical and mental well-being.
Vihan Singh, the Founder of ‘Vihan Style Icon’ and ‘Dropbeats Dance Factory’, is well-known in the modeling and choreography world of Kolkata. With over 14 years of experience in acting and directing dance in Kolkata and Mumbai, he has won several awards including Best Model and Best Choreographer.
