To celebrate the spirit of International Yoga Day 2025, the Maha All India Marwari Federation organized a grand Seminar on Yoga on Saturday,21st June 2025, at the M. P. Birla Planetarium Auditorium, Kolkata. The event was held in collaboration with Divine Bliss Foundation, Rotary Club of Kasba,Pragyan Foundation, and Lions Club of Kolkata Magnates. The seminar was a remarkable gathering of spiritual leaders, intellectuals, wellness experts, andmembers of civil society, united by the common vision of spreading awareness
about the timeless relevance of Yoga.

Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal, Director of International Institute of Lifestyle Medicine and Vice-President of the Maha All India Marwari Federation, was theconvenor of the event and delivered an insightful keynote address. He spoke about the scientific and spiritual dimensions of Yoga, its role in promotingphysical and mental health, and emphasized the power of Kriya Yoga in inner purification and self-realization. Dr. Agarwal, known for his holistic approachto health and wellness, inspired the audience with his clarity, wisdom, and practical suggestions for integrating yogic practices into daily life.

The Federation’s leadership played a key role in setting the toneof the event. Shri Vishwanath Sureka, President of the Maha All India Marwari Federation, warmly welcomed all guests and emphasized the Federation’s ongoingcommitment to cultural and spiritual upliftment. Advocate Shri Kishan Killa, General Secretary, reflected on the rise of Yoga as a global movement rooted inIndia’s ancient wisdom. Shri Ratan Lal Agarwal, Vice-President, highlighted the importance of collective initiatives in preserving and promoting traditional Indian knowledge systems like Yoga.

The seminar was graced by several eminent personalities. Among the guests were Advocate Shri Ashok Kumar Dhandhania, President of the High CourtBar Association, Kolkata, who spoke on the role of wellness in professional life. The chief speaker of the seminar, Shri Giri Surya Swami, President ofKriya Yoga Wellness Ashram, delivered a powerful spiritual discourse on the purpose of Yoga in achieving higher consciousness. Other notable attendeesincluded Shri Hinglaj Dan Ratnoo, Director of Rajasthan Information Centre; Shri Satish Kumar Lakhotia, Founder of Alliance Clubs International; Shri RamPrasad Saraf; Shri Sushil Chowdhury; Shri Chandi Bansal; Shri J. P. Muraka, and several respected dignitaries from different walks of life.

The seminar received widespread recognition and blessings fromnational leaders. Goodwill messages were conveyed by prominent dignitaries including the Hon’ble Governors of West Bengal, Dr. C. V. Ananda Bose;Meghalaya, Shri Phagu Chauhan; and Gujarat, Shri Acharya Devvrat. Central cabinet ministers such as Shri Piyush Goyal, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, ShriPralhad Joshi, and several others sent their best wishes and praised the initiative for promoting health and cultural heritage.

The seminar concluded on a high note, reaffirming Yoga’s role asa path to holistic well-being and spiritual evolution. It inspired all attendees
to embrace Yoga not only as a physical discipline but as a way of life rootedin peace, awareness, and self-realization.
