As part of its continuous efforts to support underprivileged youth, the social organization Moner Thikana arranged a special Kolkata visit for three orphaned students from Jhargram – Samir Nayek, Khoka Murmu, and Rakesh Singh. These young boys were felicitated and awarded in recognition of their outstanding performance in secondary examinations and their successful admission into Polytechnic Institutes.
The program was made possible with the generous support of Arun Goyenka, Shankar Gupta, and Rajesh Gupta, who joined hands with Moner Thikana to celebrate the achievements of these promising students.
During their visit, the children were taken to the renowned Birla Planetarium, where they experienced an inspiring educational show designed to encourage curiosity and learning.
Moner Thikana remains dedicated to ensuring that these fatherless and motherless adolescents have access to all the resources they need to continue their studies and build a promising future. The organization also expressed its strong commitment to further expanding its support for the marginalized communities of Jhargram, striving to make a meaningful impact on the lives of many more children in the coming days.
