ASPEXS (Association of South Point Ex-students) recreated the magic of school days by organizing the much-celebrated “BACK TO SCHOOL” programme at South Point High School, held alongside RENDEZVOUS 2026. The event turned into a grand reunion, blending nostalgia with vibrant celebrations.

The programme witnessed the participation of over 1,600 alumni and around 50 former teachers, making it one of the largest alumni gatherings of the institution. A major highlight of the day was the specially designed mock classrooms, where ex-teachers once again took classes for their former students. These sessions became the centre of attraction, transporting alumni straight back to their school days.

The entire event setup was thoughtfully curated to create a real school-like atmosphere, helping ex-students relive their childhood memories within the familiar campus environment. Adding to the charm was a canteen-style food court, featuring several popular brands such as Calcutta Calling, Wasabee, Oudh, Royal Bengal Tiger Cafe, Satyanarayan, Acqua Care, and 5 Mad Men, which became a bustling hub of interaction and enjoyment.

An important milestone during the celebrations was the formal launch of the ASPEXS Global Wing and Overseas Chapters, bringing together NRIs and overseas alumni of South Point and further strengthening the association’s international connect.

The day-long reunion was filled with music, fun activities, and entertainment, making it a lively and emotionally enriching experience for all attendees. The event was organized in association with The Telegraph and Skipper Pipes, with 91.9 Red FM as the radio partner, alongside support from several other leading national brands as sponsors.

Sharing his thoughts, Meghnad Roy Chowdhury, Honorary Secretary of ASPEXS, said that the programme was a heartfelt tribute to the institution and its teachers, successfully reviving cherished memories and reinforcing the lifelong bond between South Point and its alumni.
