The annual program of the West Bengal Wrestling Association took place at Behala Sharat Sadan, bringing together wrestling enthusiasts, prominent figures, and the local community. The primary objective of this event was to popularize wrestling among the general public and inspire the new generation to take up the sport.
The event was organized by Shovan Chakraborty, the General Secretary of the West Bengal Wrestling Association. The program saw the presence of several distinguished guests, including Honorable Mayor Council Shri Debashish Kumar Mahashay, President of Wrestling Shonostar Shri Gautam Ghosh Mahashay, Vice President of the All India Wrestling Association Shri Asit Kumar Saha Mahashay, and Head of Test and Bite Shri Saurabh Saha Mahashay.
As a part of the celebration, Shri Asit Saha Mahashay was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by Event Maniac for his remarkable contributions to the sport.
Additionally, the event saw the distribution of health cards, sponsored by Healthy Life, offering wrestlers and their families special discounts on health check-ups.
The evening also featured a vibrant cultural program, including dance and music performances. Niharika Center for Performing Arts and a captivating performance by Maloshree, presenting Chitrangada, added a festive touch to the evening. The entire event was hosted by Rudra Mishra.
The program was made possible through the support of Test and Bite, Healthy Life, and Event Maniac, and it highlighted the dedication of the West Bengal Wrestling Association in promoting wrestling across the state.
