MANONANJALI -a memorable evening of Indian Classical Music & Dance

Behala Balananda Brahmachari Hospital & Research Centre (BBBHRC), in association with Sutra Foundation, Malaysia, presented “Manonanjali – A Musical Bonanza”, a captivating evening of Indian classical music and dance at Behala Sarat Sadan on 24th October, 2025.
Known for its charitable healthcare service, BBBHRC believes that mental and emotional well-being are integral to holistic health — and that art and culture play a vital role in healing the mind and spirit.
The evening began with a soulful performance by legendary vocalist Bidushi Haimanti Shukla, whose mellifluous voice set a devotional tone. This was followed by “Radha Prem Leela”, an enchanting Odissi dance-theatre presentation by Datuk Ramli Ibrahim, Artistic Director of Sutra Foundation, Malaysia.
Inspired by Odisha’s folk traditions, the performance beautifully portrayed Radha’s divine love and transcended barriers of faith.
A special moment came when a Muslim artiste performed “Radhe Radhe”, symbolising the essence of religious harmony and the unifying power of art.
On this occasion, BBBHRC felicitated 22 eminent personalities for their contributions to society.
Through “Manonanjali”, BBBHRC reaffirmed its commitment to healthcare, art, and cultural unity — celebrating the enduring bond between India and Malaysia and the universal language of music and dance.
The media briefing was done by Dipak Sarkar, Hony. Secretary- Behala Balananda Bramhachari Hospital and Resarch Center.
