The prestigious 11th Banga Kriti Samman-2025 was held with much fanfare at the Kolkata Press Club on Monday. The event was organized by the Reporters and Photographers Association, in collaboration with Glamour Glow Fashion and the Alok Foundation.
The program kicked off with a soul-stirring performance by renowned singer Sunil Dhara, whose melodious voice captivated the audience. Among those gracing the event were the chief guest, Sunil Dhara himself, along with the special guest Anand Biswas, President of the SC, ST and OBC Employees Council of State Bank of India. The stage also saw the presence of distinguished figures including the Chairman of the organization Subhash Chakraborty, President Devyani Ghosh, Co-President Sanjay Tawar, and several other prominent members including Founder and Editor Anup Kumar Bardhan, Co-Editor Shuvra Nayak, and Cultural Editor Mousumi Bardhan.
The event began with the unveiling of the organization’s calendar for the year. Following this, the highly anticipated award ceremony took center stage, where 12 distinguished individuals were honored for their contributions across various fields. The recipients of this year’s awards included:
