The Third All Bengal Open Iron Lifting, Body Building, Arm Fighting, Yoga, and Dance Championship-2025 took place on Sunday, January 19, at the Sinthi Rashbihari Adarsh Bayam Mandir, organized by Ashok Akhara Ek Byam Mandir. The championship saw fierce competition across multiple disciplines, with participants from 10 districts in West Bengal as well as athletes from Bihar and Jharkhand.

The event kicked off in the morning and ran well into the night, with the competitors showcasing their strength, agility, and skill in various categories. The districts represented included North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas, Kolkata, Malda, Hooghly, Howrah, Burdwan, and Rajganj, with notable participants hailing from these areas.

In the Men’s category, Sukanta Mondal and Shubhojit Deuri were awarded the coveted “Man of Steel” title for their outstanding performances. Among the women, the titles were given to Pratyusha Adhikari, Ananya, and Bithika Roy. Chandan Hazra was recognized as the Best Poser of the event.

The competition also included a dance segment where four individuals – Olipriya, Paulmi, Sonali, and Swastika – were awarded the Best Dancer title. Meanwhile, the Best Lifter honors went to A.V. Swami and Shubham. The prestigious Team Champion title was claimed by Halishahar, showcasing their collective strength and talent.

The event was judged by a distinguished panel that included Bimal Chanda, Partha Chanda, Pritha Chanda, Gopal Debnath, Vijay Singh, Shubhojit Ghosh, Gaurang Chakraborty, Pradeep Saha, Panchugopal Das, Utpal Mondal, and Abhishek Gupta. The event’s officials included Maheshwari Barui, Amisharaj, Ayesharaj, Anirban Nandi, and Somnath.

Ashok Raj, the head bodybuilder and a renowned Bollywood and Tollywood actor, played a key role in hosting and conducting the entire event, ensuring its smooth flow and success. The winners were presented with trophies and certificates by the distinguished guests in recognition of their achievements.

The Third All Bengal Open Championship-2025 was a true celebration of athleticism, dedication, and discipline, drawing talent from across the region and providing a platform for aspiring athletes to showcase their skills.
