Maha All India Marwari Federation (MAIMF), one of the most renowned and widely respected organizations of the expatriate Marwari community at the national level, is set to celebrate its Foundation Day on December 25 with a grand ceremony at the G.D. Birla Auditorium.
Addressing a press conference, the Federation’s General Secretary, Kishan Killa, informed that the event will feature the felicitation of 17 voluntary organizations from the metropolis and adjoining areas. These organizations, which have been engaged in social service for over 25 years, will be honoured with the “Outstanding Service Award” in recognition of their significant contributions to society.
Adding cultural richness to the celebration, a grand Kavi Sammelan will be organized, where eminent poets from various states of the country will present their poetic works. A documentary film highlighting the journey, activities, and social initiatives of the Federation will also be screened on a large screen during the event.
Mr. Killa further stated that the organization has been actively conducting free legal consultation and solution camps for the past eight months. One of the core objectives of MAIMF, he emphasized, is to bridge growing social distances and strengthen community bonding. He also appealed to community members to actively join the organization and contribute to its mission.
The Federation’s Executive President, Ratan Lal Agarwal, said that MAIMF, which is recognized by various departments of the Government of India, is committed to organizing society and giving renewed identity to the Marwari language, customs, civilization, traditions, and culture. He added that by actively involving the youth, the organization aims to accelerate overall social development.
Providing a detailed overview of the Foundation Day programme, Mukesh Jindal, Shambhu Modi, and Jai Prakash Murarka shared insights into the preparations and activities planned to ensure the success of the event. A.U. Finance Bank and Wah! Zindagi have also played a special role in supporting and making the programme successful.
Several prominent members and activists were present at the press conference, including advocates Ashok Dhandhania, Narayan Prasad Agarwal, Chandra Prakash Fitkariwala, Subhash Jain, Yogendra Jain, Ved Prakash Joshi, Ashok Sancheti, Narayan Sharma, Ravindra Agarwal, Shriprakash Toshniwal, Satish Agarwal, Hari Narayan Bhattar, Rahul Jain, Mohan Rungta, Rahul Agarwal, Ramesh Jain, Murari Lal Kedia, Gauri Shankar Chaudhary, Mahesh Goyal, Dr. S.K. Agarwal, Kusum Modi, and several other social activists.
It is noteworthy that recently, at an event held in Kolkata, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan honoured Mr. Kishan Killa, National General Secretary of MAIMF, with an award from the Government of Rajasthan in recognition of the organization’s outstanding work and contributions to society.
