
A seminar on Patanjali Ashtanga Yoga for Total Personality Development was conducted on 28th January, 2025 at Pragyan Bhawan. The event was organized by Divine Bliss Foundation in collaboration with Pragyan Foundation. The seminar was led by Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal, Director of the International Institute of Lifestyle Medicine, and attended by distinguished guests and yoga enthusiasts. The Guests of Honor for the event were Dr. S. B. Nagori, a renowned cardiologist, and Dr. S. S. Rajput, Vice President of S-VYASA University, Kolkata Centre. Both guests addressed the audience and shared their insights on the immense benefits of yoga in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. S. K. Agarwal delivered an insightful speech on Patanjali Ashtanga Yoga, elaborating on all eight limbs of yoga in detail. He explained how each component contributes to overall personality development and well-being. As part of the session, he demonstrated a few yoga poses and actively engaged the participants in practicing them. He also emphasized the importance of Pranayama and explained its numerous health benefits. Additionally, Dr. Agarwal presented his book “Bhagwat Gita: A Manual for Stress and Suffering Free Life” to the guests, further enriching the seminar with profound wisdom from the sacred text.
