Myself Bumba Mukherjee, Chairman, All India Human Rights Organisation   and  President – West Bengal State National Front of Indian Trade Unions (Central Trade Union), NFITU.

Today, in my capacity as a leader and representative of the labour community, I had the honour of paying a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of State for Coal and Mines Shri Satish Chandra Dubey upon his arrival. It was a significant opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue focused on the development, welfare, and safety of our hardworking labour force.

During our detailed discussions, we addressed various pressing issues concerning the labourers, particularly those working in the coal and mining sectors. The Honourable Minister showed genuine interest and expressed his commitment to exploring sustainable solutions that will enhance the working conditions, rights, and safety of the workforce.

As part of the meeting, I had the privilege of presenting him with the latest edition of the NFITU monthly magazine. He commended the publication for its insightful content and the consistent efforts it makes to amplify the voices of workers across the nation.

Additionally, the Honourable Minister expressed keen interest in learning more about the commendable initiatives carried out by the All India Human Rights Organisation. He appreciated the organisation’s dedication to promoting and protecting human rights, especially within the context of labour welfare and dignity.

Overall, the meeting was both productive and inspiring. It laid the foundation for potential collaborations in the future and reinforced the importance of collective efforts toward ensuring justice, safety, and progress for our labourers. I feel truly honoured and grateful for the opportunity to represent our community and advocate for our shared cause.
